March Break Fun
Ages 5-12 from 8:30-4:30pm

Introduction to Fibre
Ages 10-14
1/2 Day program, mornings 9am-12, cost $60 for week plus $25 supplies...total $85.00
Must have 5 participants for program to run...so call to book a space...Deadline March 7th
The artists will begin by learning a bit about wool, its uses, how it*s cleaned, carded and spun. We will work with fluffy fleece and create little felt balls and learn how to wet felt around an object. We will do this by using warm water soap and our hands. We will make felted balls for jewellery and a doorstop made with a rock in the centre for weight. Once these techniques have been practiced, we will be able to explore a little further making juggling balls or Christmas ornament or a bag or even an iPod/cell phone cover.
